Self Contained Executable
• A Centurion Setup installer is bullet-proof and extremely reliable. You will never get a complaint from a customer that the installation program has crashed.
• Centurion Setup creates an installer that is completely self-contained in a single executable file. It will run on Windows XP or later with no dependencies or additional requirements. Both 32 and 64 bit apps can be installed.
Multilingualism and Interface Customization
• The installer is capable of presenting the user interface in English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Norwegian, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, and Afrikaans. All strings that are displayed in the user interface can be customized.
Special File Handling
• Centurion Setup can also install Device drivers, Control Panel extensions, and .MSI packages.
• COM files can be installed and registered with the operating system. This includes ActiveX controls and .TLB type libraries.
• The installer can install DLL's. If a DLL is currently in use, the user will be instructed to reboot the computer to complete the installation. Version and date checking is performed on DLL's according to Microsoft guidelines.
• Reference-counted shared files can be installed in a company folder. Shared files can be used by multiple applications, and are only replaced by more recently dated files. Only when uninstalling the last program that uses the shared file will the file be uninstalled.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
• Installers can be set to expire after a certain date.
• A restore point can be created before installation.
• The installer can add exceptions to the Windows Firewall.
• Any installed file can be configured to open during bootup.
• The installer can replace locked files during the next reboot.
• After the installer is built, it can be automatically placed in a .ZIP file.
• The installation folder can be changeable by the end-user or hard-coded.
• The installer can refuse to install on certain platforms, such as Windows XP.
• The installer can create Desktop and/or Start Menu shortcuts to any installed file.

• The installer verifies its integrity to ensure that it has not been damaged, altered, or infected by viruses.
• The customizable interface can use a specified font, colors, text, banner, side-panel graphic, icon, and size.
• To satisfy special needs, a batch of MS-DOS commands can be executed before and after both installation and uninstallation.
• Registry keys and values can be installed and uninstalled. For user-specific data, a separate value can be installed for every user.
• The installer can delete existing files based on date or size criteria. This can be useful when installing over old versions of your software.
• The installation data can be internally encrypted with a random key. If a virus scanner is producing a false positive, simply rebuild the installer.
• Fonts can be installed and registered with the Operating System so that they are available to all applications. The end-user can be given the option to keep the font during uninstallation.
• Centurion Setup and the installers that it creates run on all versions of Windows since XP. Although Centurion Setup itself is a 64-bit app, its installers can run on both 32 and 64-bit systems.
• A file type can be associated with your app, like the way .txt files are associated with Notepad. If there is an existing association, the installer will create a backup that is restored by the uninstaller. You can also install context menu options for a file type.

In certain cases, you can figure out if an application is brand new and easy to use or old and complicated, just by looking at its installer. For this purpose, you can use HofoSetup to create neatly animated installers, which require a single click to set up a program on a computer. The software can be installed using one of its own installers. All you have to do is select a destination folder, if you are not satisfied with the default one, and click a button. The installation process takes only a few moments.
To build a setup package, you must specify a series of details about your program, like its name and version, its source folder, main executable file or a custom extension file. Besides setting up an output path for the installer, you can also set a default install path, add custom shortcuts and import registry elements. The created installers work quite fast and they are beautifully animated. Furthermore, they will create Uninstall files as well, which are capable of removing everything, from the installed files to the created folder, just as fast.
